For the guys out there who are interested in the ebook Double Your Dating authored by David DeAngelo, I have provided a quick review of the contents of the book so you can decide if it is worth your time and money!
David DeAngelo’s book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
- being yourself
- differences between the sexes
- dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
Being yourself is not what is important, instead the author teaches men that they need to be the best self. Most guys who are just “themselves” suck at getting women, that is why it is important to first learn how to be attractive to women. In order to be successful, you need to stop being yourself for the time being so you learn how to become successful with women, then mould this into your own personality eventually!
What are some of the differences between the sexes and their roles?
In the book, David talks about how men and women differ and why men nowadays are confused. In our society, a lot of guys do not know what to do, because they are all confused having been brainwashed by the media. It astounds me, but I just can’t figure out why some guys just think they need to be nice guys to get women. That is where things start to go wrong and where problems begin. Girls and women in general like men who demonstrate characteristics of a man. I find it interesting that a lot of guys are totally confused and start to act like girls. That’s a big part of the reason as to why some guys don’t get women, because they don’t act like a man, but instead act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. Clearly is not the case at all. This is because having these qualities all serve to present to the women that a guy with this things have a higher social value. To convey that you have a high social standing, men don’t need to have a wealth of materialistic objects to demonstrate this. The good news is that you don’t need to be a rockstar to get women, as David DeAngelo goes into detail to show you how to demonstrate these qualities in your own personality!
My conclusion
